Delete your NOVA account

NOVA · operated by The Transformation Room

Your account has been deleted. Every connected account was disconnected and everything NOVA kept for you is gone. Thank you for trying NOVA.

Your NOVA subscription was cancelled too, so nothing more will be charged. If you subscribed in the Play Store, Google stops it at the end of the period you already paid for.

We couldn’t cancel your NOVA subscription automatically. Please cancel it so you aren’t charged again: in the Play Store (Profile › Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions) if you subscribed there, or by emailing billing@yournovabrain.com and we’ll cancel it for you.

In the app or on the web

  1. Open NOVA (the Android app, or yournovabrain.com) and sign in.
  2. Tap your photo at the top right, then Settings.
  3. Open Security & privacy and choose Delete my account.
  4. Type your email address to confirm, then Delete everything.

It happens right away: NOVA cancels any NOVA subscription you pay for, disconnects every account you connected (revoking its access with Google, your bank through Plaid, WHOOP and the others) and then deletes your account.

Without signing in

Email privacy@yournovabrain.com from the address you sign in with, with the subject “Delete my NOVA account”. We confirm it is you, then delete your account within 30 days and reply when it is done.

What is deleted

One thing is kept: a scrambled, one-way fingerprint of your Google account and email, with the date your free trial began. It can’t be turned back into your email, and it is only used so that a new account doesn’t start a second free trial.

What is kept, and for how long

Nothing about you is kept in NOVA after deletion. Encrypted backups of the database expire within 30 days, and your information goes with them. Records the law requires us to keep (for example, of a payment, if there ever was one) are kept only as long as required. The full schedule is in data retention and deletion.
