NOVA terms of service
Last updated October 17, 2026
NOVA is a personal AI assistant operated by The Transformation Room, 8401 Mayland Dr, Ste A, Richmond, VA 23294, USA. These terms describe how NOVA may be used. By creating an account or using NOVA, you agree to them.
Who can use NOVA
- You must be 18 or older.
- An account is for one person. You sign in with Google, and you're responsible for keeping that Google account secure.
- Don't use NOVA to break the law, to harm or harass anyone, to send spam, or to try to get into anyone else's account or information. We may suspend an account that does.
Free trial
A new account starts with a 14-day free trial. No card is needed and nothing is charged during it. When the trial ends without a plan, your account becomes read-only: everything you've added is kept, but agents pause and new chats stop until you choose a plan.
Plans, payment and renewal
- Plans are billed monthly or yearly, in US dollars, at the price shown when you subscribe. The prices are listed in Customize › Plan & usage.
- Your plan renews automatically at the end of each monthly or yearly period, at the then-current price, until you cancel. We'll tell you before a price change takes effect at your next renewal.
- Payments on the website and the downloaded app are handled by Stripe. In the Google Play app, they're handled by Google Play under its terms. NOVA never sees your full card number.
- Each plan includes a monthly amount of AI use. If you use it all before the month ends, you can add a top-up, use your own OpenAI key (an add-on), or move to a larger plan. Unused AI use doesn't carry over.
- Applicable taxes may be added at checkout.
Cancelling
- You can cancel at any time in Customize › Plan & usage. If you subscribed through Google Play, you can also cancel in Google Play.
- Cancelling stops the next renewal. You keep your plan until the end of the period you've paid for, then the account becomes read-only, with your information kept.
- Payments already made aren't refunded for partial periods, except where the law requires it or where we choose to. If something went wrong, email billing@yournovabrain.com and we'll look at it.
- You can delete your account and its information at any time, as described in data retention and deletion.
Connected accounts
You choose which accounts to connect, such as Google, Oura or bank accounts through Plaid. NOVA only reads what you connect, and you can disconnect any of them at any time. Services you connect keep their own terms, which still apply.
Actions
NOVA never moves money. It sends messages, changes calendars or takes other actions on your behalf only with your explicit approval, or within an automatic action you deliberately switch on with limits you set. It keeps a record of every action it takes.
Connected services and their charges
- Services you connect to NOVA, such as a messaging, advertising, payment, data or online store service, are provided by those companies under their own terms and pricing, not by us.
- Some actions in those services cost money, such as sending a text message, running or boosting an ad, creating a charge, invoice, refund or payout, using paid credits, placing an order or buying a domain. Any fees, charges or usage costs a connected service bills for them are between you and that service, and are billed to your account with it.
- NOVA marks actions that may cost money with a connected service and waits for your approval before taking them. The Transformation Room isn't responsible for, and can't refund, third-party fees, charges or usage costs that result from actions you approve or automations you configure. If you disagree with such a charge, contact the service that billed it.
- NOVA never holds your funds. It reads the bank accounts you connect through Plaid but can't make purchases, send payments or move money through them.
Not professional advice
NOVA can summarise health, sleep and financial information, but it is not a doctor, financial advisor or lawyer. Its answers are for personal reference and can be wrong. Check anything important with a qualified professional.
No warranty
NOVA is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We don't promise that NOVA will be uninterrupted, error-free or always available, or that its answers will be correct or complete. It may change, pause or stop working at any time. Some places don't allow these exclusions, so some of them may not apply to you.
Limitation of liability
- To the fullest extent the law allows, The Transformation Room and the people who work on NOVA are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill or business opportunity, arising from or related to NOVA or these terms, even if we were told such damages were possible.
- This includes losses that come from relying on NOVA's answers or suggestions, from actions you approved or automatic actions you switched on, from services you connected (such as Google, your bank through Plaid, or a wearable), or from those services being unavailable or returning wrong information.
- Our total liability for all claims arising from or related to NOVA or these terms is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for NOVA in the 12 months before the event that gave rise to the claim, or (b) US $100.
- These limits apply whatever the legal theory (contract, tort including negligence, or otherwise), and even if a remedy fails of its essential purpose. They don't limit liability that can't be limited by law, such as liability for fraud, or for gross negligence or wilful misconduct where the law doesn't allow it to be limited, and they don't take away rights you have as a consumer that can't be waived where you live.
Governing law and disputes
- These terms, and any dispute arising from or related to NOVA or these terms, are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
- Before starting a formal dispute, please email support@yournovabrain.com and give us 30 days to try to resolve it informally. Most problems are solved this way.
- If it isn't resolved, any lawsuit must be brought in the state or federal courts located in the Commonwealth of Virginia, and you and we agree to the personal jurisdiction of those courts. Either of us may instead bring an individual claim in small claims court where it qualifies.
- If you live outside the United States, mandatory consumer protection laws of the country where you live still apply to you where they give you more protection, and you may also be able to bring a claim in your local courts.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as NOVA changes. When a change matters, we'll tell you in NOVA or by email before it takes effect. If you keep using NOVA after that, the updated terms apply. If you don't agree, you can stop using NOVA and delete your account at any time.
General
If any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce a part of these terms, that isn't a waiver. You may not transfer your account or these terms to someone else; we may transfer them as part of a merger, sale or reorganisation of the business that runs NOVA. These terms are the whole agreement between you and us about NOVA.
